Dean Abbott has been building his own path since he was 19: self-motivated, willing to step into the unknown, and set on making a life around the work he cares about. He started writing songs at 21, when the chance came to release his first EP, All the Leaves. That record lit the fuse. Three albums have followed.
His sound is soulful and unhurried. The songs move like stories, carrying messages of love and compassion without forcing the point. Listeners come for the mellow tone and stay for the writing.
